I was born and raised in Las Cruces, NM, where my father worked at the National Armory and the Physical Sciences Lab, traveling the world for satellite tracking before settling at White Sands Missile Range. My mother was a dedicated teacher, shaping young minds in our community.
Inspired by a love of science and innovation, I earned my B.S. in Electrical Engineering from New Mexico State University, where I was fortunate to have an incredible mentor and professor. His passing at the young age of 54 was heartbreaking, but his passion for engineering left a lasting impact on me. I continued my education at the University of Arizona, earning my M.S. in Electrical Engineering while interning at Jet Propulsion Labs and Kennedy Space Center.
My career took off at Boeing, where I spent over 12 years in R&D, working alongside brilliant minds who shaped my journey. Encouraged by a mentor, I pursued my MBA, which opened new doors and broadened my perspective. Later, I returned to New Mexico and spent 11+ years at Sandia National Labs, leading projects on cutting-edge satellite technology with an extraordinary team.
Three years ago, I moved to Raleigh, NC, where my path took an unexpected but exciting turn. I’ve had the privilege of working with visionary leaders—CEOs, CTOs, and innovators—who showed me that there’s another way. A career revolution. It was eye-opening, and it changed everything for me.
Now, I want to give back. I want to help others see new possibilities, break free from traditional career paths, and take control of their futures. Life can be different. It should be different. And I’m here to show others how.
Beyond my work, I’m incredibly fortunate to have a beautiful fiancée who has two amazing boys. They inspire me every day and remind me of the importance of building a future full of possibilities—not just for myself, but for them and for others ready to take that leap.
